We have added another case (PG13) for the slightly larger (13" lower bout) parlor guitar and, due to increasing requests, a new category of drum cases to help protect those fragile instruments from the elements.

QUALITY
Blue Heron® manufactures the highest quality, light weight softshell cases available today. Our cases provide superior protection for your instrument combined with the convenient portability of a carefully designed gig bag.

The most important feature of any soft case is the padding. We use selected combinations of INSULITE and dense EVA closed cell foams. We also laminate an additional 1/2" pillow of soft open-cell foam in the top and bottom peghead area of stringed instrument cases as a shock absorber.

The foam is sandwiched between the interior lining of strong lint-free Ripstop Nylon and water-repellent 1000 denier Cordura. Cases are available in 5 colors and black.

Rugged Durability

It is the binding and seams of any case that are exposed to the most wear from abrasion. Our cases are sewn with a double stitched 3/4" seam which is bound with 1-1/2" polypropylene webbing. We have no exposed seams anywhere.
Our case zipper is an extra large #10 Nylon Chain for extra strength, long life and ease of use.

Convenience

For carrying convenience our double webbing padded handles are surrounded by supple leather for a comfortable grip.

The case has a detachable 2" strap which can be used as a sling, or used for single strap back pack carry. This method is both secure and comfortable and allows free use of both hands and arms for carrying luggage through the airport or riding a bicycle.

For storage we have provided a large zippered pouch on top of the case and for those smaller accessories ( strings, picks, cards, etc. ) there is a smaller velcro-closing pocket inside the case.

Our optional Neck Pouch^TM provides an extra 100 cubic inches of usable space under the neck of your instrument. Double sided velcro securely attaches the Neck Pouch^TM to the inside pocket.

The case comes with a 2" adjustable/detachable shoulder strap. It can be carried purse style or you can swing it on your back. There is a D-ring on the back side of the case so that it can be hung on the wall. Blue Heron cases feature a large #10 nylon coiled zipper with two nickel zipper pulls for strength, durability and ease of use. The drum case has a zippered 'half moon' shaped pouch pocket on the case lid for tippers and other accessories. Backpack straps are an available option. Colors available: royal blue, mallard green, burgundy, straw, silver grey, and black.
